The Georgia Recycled Organics Council (formerly Georgia Composting Association) is a branch of the Georgia Recycling Coalition with the goal of promoting and encouraging composting practices or other higher beneficial uses of organic material, including but not limited to yard trimmings and food residuals/wasted non-edible food. The council provides information and education, and joins together individuals, businesses and government agency representatives to exchange information, educate the public and grow the infrastructure for processing organics whether at the community level or large scale manufacturing operations.
