As the newest state chapter of the US Composting Council, the Georgia Composting Council (GACC) promotes the composting industry and the reduction, reuse and recycling of the organic component of Georgia’s waste stream through support of infrastructure development, quality control, training, legislative and regulatory advocacy, and public education.

Our mission is to elevate waste reduction and improve soil health via composting organic materials at the backyard, community and large-scale manufacturing levels in Georgia; assuring compost education and access to composting options for all Georgians.  As a  member, you have the opportunity to influence the direction of the council along with exclusive benefits, promotional opportunities, and resources.
