Alcoa/Georgia Recycling Coalition 2010 Recycling Bin Grants
Approximately 2000 -22 gallon green recycling bins are being provided to the Georgia Recycling Coalition in a partnership with Alcoa Recycling. GRC members may request bins for programs in their communities. Bins will be made available first come first served based on requests that assure increased recovery; recipients will need to pick up bins in Athens, GA and transport them to their location. Grantees will be required to provide volumes (in lbs/tons) to GRC on a quarterly basis of materials recovered as a result of receipt of bins. We are proud to have been chosen as a state partner by Alcoa Aluminum and look forward to providing resources to programs to continue improving recycling access in our state. Application Acceptance Ended June 9, 2010. For the press release click here.
